Gift-In-Kind Donation

Your support means so much to us and our patients. Thank you for your interest in supporting our mission to improve the health of our community with a gift-in-kind donation.

What are Gifts-In-Kind?
Non-monetary items of tangible personal property such as art, collectibles, books, equipment, automobiles, other assets or materials which represent value to Inova and the Foundation. (This policy does not cover gifts of real estate or securities.)

Gift-In-Kind Guidelines:
In accordance with guidelines for patient confidentiality, infection control, and safety, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following:

• Items must be new, unused, and unopened
• We cannot accept wrapped gifts
• We cannot accept religious items (i.e. Bibles, crosses, etc.)
• We cannot accept toy weapons (i.e. guns, knives, etc.)
• We cannot accept electrical, spark-producing, or friction-producing toys
• Only video games rated “E” (Everyone) are accepted
• Toys should not have parts that can pinch or catch hair
• Paint, glue, and craft items must be non-toxic
• Please refrain from sending cards, notes, or letters
