NOTE: We apologize for the confusion over the “recurring” text on your bank statement or message from your bank if you made a one-time gift. Occasionally, donation software uses the phrase “recurring” in a different (and inconvenient) context.

“Recurring” (in this case) could mean that the payment processor has identified your payment method in our system as a card that could be used again (if you wished to make a donation in the future).

No card details are stored and no one is able to see your payment information. It’s completely private. It simply allows the software to process payments quicker knowing that you’ve used that payment method in the past.
