What is Inova Gives Back?

Led by Inova Health Foundation, Inova Gives Back is our systemwide team member giving campaign. Each spring team members come together to make charitable donations to support our work and each other.

What is the Team Member Compassion Fund?

The focus of the Inova Gives Back campaign is the Team Member Compassion Fund – established specifically to provide emergency financial assistance for team members who experience unforeseen events that cause financial hardship. What is the timeframe for the 2023 Inova Gives Back campaign?

The campaign will be open April 17 through May 5.

What is our goal this year?

You can help us reach our goal of raising $250,000 for the Team Member Compassion Fund. We understand that for some, it is a big ask to make a gift, but at Inova, we live and act on our values of Our People and One Team by treating team members with the same compassionate respect shown to our patients every day.

Where can team members give during the campaign?

The focus of the Inova Gives Back campaign is the Team Member Compassion Fund, but donations are welcome to to any Inova fund(s) – so give a meaningful gift to your area of interest or passion.

How can team members make a gift?

You can make your personal one-time or recurring gifts via debit/credit card or payroll deduction by visiting inova.gives/back.

Why should I make a gift via payroll deduction?

Payroll deduction offers team members a convenient way to automatically contribute toward the Team Member Compassion Fund and/or to another Inova fund(s). It also allows you to “spread” your gift out over the course of a year so it’s not a large sum all at once.

Are gifts to this program tax deductible?

Yes, whether you give by payroll deduction, debit/credit card, checks, ACH, or cash, your gift to Inova Health Foundation is tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. The Foundation is tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
